2 girls on bikes on a roadtrip ((USA, Canada, OZ DONE)NOW New Zealand)

Hello Kiwi-Bikers,

we are two German girls on a yearlong roadtrip, so far we covered the US, Canada and Australia, now we are in NZ and want to explore the beautiful scenery here :-)
Everyone we met so far has told us that NZ is mindblowing so our expectations are high ;-)

We are right now in Auckland and waiting for the bikes to arrive, unfortunately our freight forwarder encountered some troubles (e.g. no crates, cancelled ship... :-( thus we will start on the 07.02 for a week touring the North Island by a small camper van and then hopefully continue around the 16.02 with our bikes, then heading south.

So if anyone wants to share a beer/coffe and stories with us, and maybe a place to pitch a tent or a bed .... we would be more than delighted to meet some Kiwi riders

Cheers

Nini and Katja

Have fun!

Rosie & I will be doing some riding/exploring/camping/beerdrinking around the Nelson area 20-27 Feb so if you have made it that far south by then get in touch.

Cheers
Clint

Hey Nicola,

sounds great, we will get back to you in a few weeks since we will head from Auckland tomorrow straight to the South Island (to have still good weather down there) and then do the South part of the North Island on the way back to Auckland.

Looking forward to meet you then

Cheers

Nini :-)

Welcome to NZ

Greetings from Queenstown ( South Island)...actually Arrowtown but it's all the same area.
My wife and I are avid riders and spend much of our time on the bikes. We too would love to host you two for a couple of night and show you around this part of the country. If you have accommodation sorted then by all means at least call by for a coffee or a beer.
