Not quite. It is a "Rabid Transit", as in "I run this bike like a RABID dog runs from the dog catcher".

The bike has risers but they had a bad case of the ugly - so I scratched up the cover plate to add a little bling - tom

Very, very cool.

I've often thought a fully-engraved R100 tank would be awfully slick. Is that possible given the thickness of the steel?

One of the Harley guy's had one done last year - but the tank had to be custom cast nice & thick & then beautiful deep relief engraving - The owner had to have very deep pockets but it was really a one of a kind - Of coarse the engine & other things had to be engraved to match - tom

Whoa. Crazy!

I was thinking more along the lines of, say, engraving out or etching the pinstripe path, then filling it in with enamel... or leaving it as simply a relief with the base coat over it.

it would have to be cut pretty deep to show up with a base/clear on top of it -
