Industrial Harness Users: Petzl BodFAST V Yates Voyager?
Any riggers/climbers here?
I've been agonizing over a new harness, and have narowed it down to the Petzl Bod (FAST version) http://www.ebay.com/itm/PETZL-NAVAHO...6c408278#payId or the Yates Voyager (rigging harness). http://www.yatesgear.com/rescue/imag...gerRiggers.jpg
Anyone here used both of them?
What I'm wondering specifically is about the D-rings at the hip, for positioning. The Yates harness seems to have really small D-rings... The BodFAST looks to have larger ones- But I have no way to go see any of these in person, only looking online. There's a somewhat significant price diff... Leaning towards the BodFAST right now.
I'm doing stage rigging and climbing, NO rope-access or rescue/firefighter stuff, but welcome any and all perspectives specifically on these two harnesses..
