In true Uber n00b fashion I go to get my gear out Friday am and *$#!*#$*%(^%^(%^(! I forgot my boots. I ask around but you PPs have small feet. Off to Ridgecrest I go, 140 miles in the truck, 1 pair of 13's. Thankfully they were only Tech 3's not something more expensive. On the plus side, when I go to KM again and soak my boots on the first days ride, I'll have a spare dry pair for the following day.

Apply heat rub in repeat. I did this to mine and they are still water proof after 5 years of riding. I only reapplied for the first time this year. It soaks into the threads and seams really makes the boot truly water proof.

NorCal'rs
Joel,
Thanks for putting this together and for putting up with us. It was, as always, a blast. Bill ------------- Eggroll likes my DR (figured out the starting problem - it was the switch): Kawtipper trying to be Burrostipper: In Darwin: Confirming the route to Cerro Gordo: The guy from Canada leading JoefromSF down Olancha Dune: View from the top: JoefromSF starting to see double:Mootsuno showing how it's done (except the landing thing): Pleasant Canyon near the top: And it's called Pleasant Canyon why now? Chicken Rock: Towards the end of South Park Canyon:

You bastards! I'm the guy in the Mercedes that ran into you at Goler Wash, the cabins and then Furnance Creek.
I must admit I was a little jealous seeing you riding through the valley. I wish I had a smaller bike now. Cheers! Tom |
