Assembly report.

First off, thanks for your installation pictures folks!

Today I was down in the shop at 7am, coffee and croissant in hand. It wasn't 10 minutes before my neighbor came by and asked me if I wouldn't mind turning the music down. No Led Zep at 7am? Ok, if you say so.

Anyway I'm about finished with some advance work I was doing for the next two batches. There's a few things I have to go out and take care of. When I return this current batch is starting its potting processes.

Ok, so I did 549 miles today, including GA 60, US129, the Cherohala Skyway, The Dragon at Deal's gap, then back down the GA part of US129... all I can say is AWESOME!!!! This on top of around 300 or so last Sunday. This bike has NEVER ran as good as it has since installing this gadget. One of the best upgrades I've made to this bike. I just wish it had been available years ago. If anyone is still sittin' on the fence, I'd say that you won't regret spendin'; such a paltry sum for the benefits to be had.

Ok, ok, so it still isn't very scientific... and no, I still haven't disconnected the device and ridden with and without back to back, (thought about it several times today but was having too much damn fun to bother) but I KNOW how this bike's always run and this IS better!

Maybe a dumb question but why does this look so different from the Camhead shot taken by Bracky? Would that be the difference from an 1150 to a 1200...or a Hexhead to a Camhead, or...?

It appears it’s a 03 1150GS from his profile.

Maybe you should try some RUSH at 7am. I find its more soothing with my morning coffee!

Thanks for the hard work, can't wait to get mine and try it out!!!!

Well, for me that depends on which song. For some of their songs yes, for others noooo

Off topic but I'd say it depends on taste in general. I've always been a huge Zep fan whereas in general, with a few exceptions I don't care much for Rush at all... Different animals altogether to my ear....

Not being critical, but if that is your battery terminal in upper right...I hope that is not corrosion and if it was you cleaned the terminal and wires..just a thought.

Oh yea I get that, but I wanted the big hit that only Misty Mountain Hop can give.

The terminal is fine. The corrosion was from my battery charger clamp. The battery discharges a bit if I don't ride for a week. I figure it'll be time for a new one soon.
