RE: Scouting Trip To Silverton
I think I can make that! Since I would be coming down HWY285 from the Denver area, how about we meet up in Buena Vista, Salida or Poncha Springs?

John if Amy can get off on that Sat we should be good for the scouting trip. We would probably come down 285 and meet you in Poncha Springs or Salida. Tom

working on trying to make this event. I'm considering a plated 390 husaberg, would that be a good choice and would it need additional fuel capacity? Could also do a KTM 690. Is a day enough to get used to the altitude? I remember feeling like crap on top of pikes peak at least initially.

In. I can't request time off at work for another week and a half, but shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to be scouting the area all summer, just to make sure it is worth riding, you know.
