It won't affect me. I bought my first helmet in 1957, long before there were helmet laws.

Even if the helmet weren't required here I'd wear one 99% of the time just to protect from bugs, wind, noise, and other flying crap. Anyone else notice that in states where helmets are not required, the ones riding without are usually violating at least half-a-dozen commonsense safety rules too?
