It's $75 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Ilium-Works-F6...4454407&sr=8-1 It's really a great piece of plastic and certainly worth the not-so-expensive amount of money. For people complaining about the price, if you think there are so many people that want to buy it but refuse to because it's too expensive then take $1000 and get a thermo mould made and make a cheaper one. No one is stopping competition in the market so unless you want to address the price issue yourself then buy it or don't. It's really tiring to see the same complaint so often on the BMW forums: people buying a $12-15k moto and then bitching about the cost of parts but not attempting to do anything about it. ![]() Quote:

more options included (for new models) for the same price. take the new 1200GS limited edition or the new 1600GT/L.

Do you have to take off the rear wheel to install the splash guard?
Thanks. |

Hallo mates!
Has any European rider installed the Maier rear Mudguard? Unfortunately the high shipping cost reduce the value of this deal! Thanks so much AndRe |

I am in Vietnam but the total shipping cost+tax is only $35, way cheaper than the Mud-sling.

Just installed the Maier, which I got from Touratech for about $75. Installed easily, and looks like it should block all that mud from hitting rear shock...
Not sure why the mudsling was so much more for such a simple product. |

Works perfect.
No idea what the more expensive versions get you since this one does exactly what it's supposed to.
The more important question is, why doesn't the bike roll out of the factory with this already on it?? EPMD screwed with this post 11-15-2012 at 05:10 PM |
