I'm at a cabin near Natahala Lake tonight with OU812 and his crew from Chicago...great ride today and even found a couple of fun roads along the way.

lives in sc, spent the wkend in texas riden with friends. Crossed ok into ar rode the pig trail, stopped off here. We drank, ate, drank, talked motorcycles,drank smoked cigars. u get the idea




He left out this morning before i went to work, was still deciding which route to nc.'



for those of u not keeping up with his thread he turned 100,000 miles, at 100mph on the weestrom in ok last monday

ok maybe not, so ya know i was late, school nite and all.

quick check here and they'd gone to woodstock deli



had no idea this was here, killer bbq samwich. smokey i mean thick with grease all over everything, we ate out side.

everybody bragged on thier food.

got home friday, ran some errands and waited on the wife to get off work mean time it rained wifey thought she was getting outta this, cause these days i'll ride in the rain, but i try not to leave in the rain. Luckly it was raining between her work and home so away we went.

Hit the super slab headed north. Pretty much everywhere we went the rds were wet. We got a couple of drops on us & got alittle chilly.

So we pulled into camp in dillsboro nc



next morning we got up ate. walked around glad to be in the mtns





Got our education for the day

and we rolled into Hot Springs nc

small town with the applaichan trail going tru the middle & the french broad river running beside it.

also home of the first notarally

at the back of the campground, we pulled in right at the crack of noon

here's everybody not there leaving out for group rides sat morning

hung out alittle, laffed alot

left and set up camp across the tracks at the iron horse station, in a puller room. cool room alittle pricey & to quote my wife "no tv"

i heard that more than once

hung out there for alittle while and made bedroom noise's

cause we snore louder than the train

as we were passing a store, we saw some bikes of all kinds and we pulled in

mike set us up with the cool way home & filled us in so we didn't miss the turn into barbrosa, thanks again

so we headed on into del rio tn, used to be the car theif captil of the usa. (don't know if thats true or not, but i've heard it most of my life)

stopped at barbrosa, "installing and serviceing hangovers since bah bah" or something like that.

good music (if ya like redneck music and i do) laid back atmosphere

had some nachos (have ya had conveince store nachos, 1 step up from that)

a beer or 2 and away we went

i know the water was up this wkend, but i've walked halfway across here to set and cool down in the heat of the day, oh well as long as he was having fun, that's all that matters
