Shocks
Nice bike Miob, a scrambler is not a motocrosser, your bike looks like it fits the bill to me.
Shocks - just curious anybody using longer than standard shocks on their twin shock BMW. Many times I have considered adding alittle bit more length to the rear suspension. As long as the reliability isn't ruined. What do you think can a guy get an extra inch of travel or even an inch and a half, and not destroy the rearend. I have a great little R80 that will never be a GS, but a light scrambler - maybe! |

Yep, nothing beats moving a mostly finished bike into a new frame for an intimate learning experience.

I don't know, they're the shocks that came on it and I just assume they're stock. The seat was sourced from Chris (bmweuro) and its a regular /5,6 police/solo seat from Germany. 3.50X19 and 4.00 X18 Dunlop K-70 tires ( I like them on my 64 Triumph so no reason to suspect that I won't like them here too). I've got a starter/battery issue to sort out and she's ready to roll.

Does anyone know what type of seat is on this bike? Is this a custom seat?
