R75/5 ignition switch wiring

I am going through and trying to straighten out a hack job on 1972 R75/5 project. I' have 2 different wiring diagrams for a 1972 R75/5 with fuses. One diagram is from my Clymer manual and it shows that in the on position there are 4 connections bridged together(blue circle), and the other diagram(red circle) shows that brown(ground) is connected to green only and that red and red/green are connected to gray only. Does anyone know which of these is correct?
