![]() Shit is insidious and turns to cement in them nooks & crannies. Not saying wash your bike but at least hose it off unless you want them spoke nipples to look ugly fast. I can almost bet the sprayer tank truck will be up the road here this week, usually follows the grader by a week. Had to wait 2 days last year until the stuff dried out just to go for my first ride of the year. Beat them this year.....!

I gotcha hwg. The longer it is on the more it stains and corrodes and hides potential issues.

i got lazy breaking the bead.
I have a very large milton vice on my workbench. I cover the jaws with a rag or cardboard, put the whole damn wheel/tire combo down into it so that the jaws can close and juuuuuuuuust miss the rim. Then i close it all the way, grab the rim, and wiggle it around until it kinda unseats itself.

They are supposed to be a 80/20, good enough for some of our logging roads I hope. I have to ween the bike and myself for future diet of sand and dirt. Baby steps ;)

I just replaced both tires.
Tires make you tired. No snags ... just carefully done. Like wrestling a very strong midget.

Are you sure it was Brazil and not Argentina and how many incidents are we talking about here?
