Back when I did it, I hammered it when I could afford it and took my time when I was broke. You will get through it quicker if you can do it all at once, and save some $$$ too.

2 a week min if you can. Knock it out as fast as you can and don't bother getting started unless you got enough money to finish.

Yeah. I was taking lessons 14 years ago. Gave it up thinking that I really wouldn't be able to afford flying after I got my license. Been thinking of working my way up to commercial.
