As for the BMW, I'm sorry, I have yet to see a "bobbed" post 1970 BMW that looks good. Sorry, they just don't work. Very ungraceful, ugly even. |

I like anything that someone has put their heart and soul into. It might not be something I would own or ride but I can appreciate it for what it is.

The Kohl bobber is a work of art, the hard tail frame looks great and the workmanship is really good. The other bobbers on this page are a really odd mix, probarly because the constructors are going for a bobber look in the cheapest possible way. The bikes will be sold to some fashion victim for a serious price, who will pose around town until he gets bored with the bike and it gets forgotten at the back of the garage for the next 10 years.
Yet again with all specials, if the guy who made it is a real craftsman and he has thought the project through, then it is most likely to be a success, I don't really mind what sort of special it is, but if it is constructed well with skill then that floats my boat, if it works better on the road than the original, then it will really get my vote.

Chris, I dig the crazy subframe but why don't you move the sigs to those abrupt ends? Nice fender, too....got a match for the front?

I like it. Most airhead bobbers use a seat that's too narrow.
