Amen Savior chopper question

Bought an old Amen Savior chopper with the Amen springer front end and mini front drum brake. It's powered by a 1980 Honda CB750 DOHC motor. I'm looking for a picture of the front end setup with the brake drum. I am trying to figure out how it all supposed to go together. Particularly, there is supposed to be a link from the hub to the fork to keep the drum assembly stationary when braking. That part is missing and i need to fabricate it from scratch. Any web links to pictures or pics from personal sources would be a huge help. This bike is going to be a full resto in Southern California 70's style. Right now, I'm just in the mental planning stages.

Yes, every brake needs a torque arm. A simple flat bar. I remember that shit from that time... those brakes were useless, spend the money on life insurance instead.

Thanks Concours! I've been looking for a project like this for a long time. I've figured out that the front hub is called a Minidrum, made by Hallcraft. Yes, i know they dont make the bike stop but i still want it operable. There seem to be a lot of people looking for old Amen parts, I have a nearly complete bike. It's a basket case but I want to bring it back to it's glory days.

Yes there will be some fabrication involved in this project. I'm hoping to keep it era correct as much as possible. I have a good chromer and a good powder coat guy as well. The seat is roached but there's enough left to work with to fab a new seatpan and upholstry from. I'm wondering about the geometry since I am very tall and have lower back muscle problems. The peanut tank is being replaced with a coffin tank. I want to bead blast the motor, paint and rechrome some items on it. It's still on the trailer waiting for space in my garage but here's a teaser. I will create a thread in "Some Assembly Required" section soon.

Its got a big rear drum brake and...plunger rear suspension. Nice.

I've never seen a TWIN STICK Honda chopper. I thought that fad had passed when the twin cam cam out. Later retrofit?

Old Honda twin cam... check the cam chain tensioner as the chain can eat into the rear of the cylinder block.
Seen it several times in the late '80s.

Thanks for the info. I'm tearing the motor down anyhow so i'll be replacing guides, seals, gaskets, cam chain etc.

The bike was built in 1982 using a 1980 motor. I have copies of build sheets, reciepts, etc from a cycle shop in Sanford, FL. The VIN on the title is the motor number so swapping out the motor for a known running unit is out of the question. This bike should scream once it's done if I can only figure out how to sit on it and hold on going down the road!
