This thread should have everything you're looking for. This is the third running of EOAR so if you want some history, pics and some pretty good vids do a search or find a post from motoaxe as he has the links in his sig line.

As for different routes there will be everything from beaver ponds to road rides. Personally I like cottage and fire roads. My GS doesn't care for beaver dams.

Hope to see you there

We will have them proofed shortly, clean up any dead ends or bottomless pits.

Still not sure the total number of routes this year but there is rumour of an Eastern path.

More to follow

Maybe bolt cutters and a boom truck might be a better choice.

A Visa statement charge reminded me of having a patch of grass at Elmhirst to park the XR and pitch a tent.

I'll be riding up from downtown TO at about 1:30. PM
Will be avoiding the 407.
What is the most dirt oriented way of getting to the resort? Looking for trails or even rail trails.

Pre-Ride

Transitwally and I did some pre-riding for an Eastern route......He wanted to really put the 'E' in EOAR this time. The final route will be a nice big bike route for anyone not looking take their Pygs swimming.

We ran into some dead ends and had to back track

and more dead ends

...and then we ran into the grandaddy them all. The beavers said "you shall not pass". It was still getting deeper at this point.

Otherwise...we're ready to go.
