I should have opened the thread with some info. Walden Playboys had their 50th anniversary race yesterday. Not to shabby for a track that used to be "scrambles" and used motor oil to keep the dust down.
 with all the tracks folding due to ever increasing zoning etc etc thank god for Walden doing things right and keeping the flame burning. yesterday they had a pro purse which was enough to entice some pretty serious participants. forget everything you know about riding because you don't know how to ride you know how to sit, steer, shift, brake, etc. but as a rider you, me and most of the rest of us, suck. guys who ride the A class when there is money on the line don't. a few from yesterday of those that didn't. this one finished 2-1 in the 250's and 2-2 on the 450's and probably took home a nice stack of C notes. at least enough to pay for gas and dinner and ice cream but with the rigs the local pro's travel in I wouldn't want to pay the gas. National #77 Lowell Spangler hauling the mail.
