Question looking for adventure buddies

I am new to Advrider and need a little help, advice. What is the best way for me to find some riding buddies? I just moved to Burlington, VT. Beautiful area. My SuzDR650 is being shipped and should arrive soon. Will someone(s) kindly tell me your ideas on how I can search for fellow adventure riders in this area?
Thanks. Bridget

Hello and Welcome

There's a couple ways to find people to ride with:

First off, check out your local thread. I looked briefly and found VT and New Hampshire, but I'm sure if you look a little harder in the regional forums, you'll find something more local. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=711608

If you like camping/your bike is ready, camp and rides are always good, usually a good number of people and a leader to show you around. Two of them are less than 6 hours away from you this month.

Northeast Kingdom - I'm doing this one

Berkshire: - Should have an awesome turnout
