Better 6v horn options

I;ve given up on my 6v horn as any kind of attention getter, and unfortunately seem to need it more everyday. Is there an alternative or option that any of you 6v riders use? Thanks!!

I can't say I can remember how loud a stock /2 horn is. There are other sources online for vintage VW parts.

I have that affect on women!

So,
You've removed the unit, taken it apart, cleaned it, cleaned all grounding/connections and then played with the adjuster nut on the back???

My R69S doesn't even have a horn. I never put it in when I restored the bike because it's so large, and I already knew how ineffective they are.
I haven't seen a 6v VW horn in many years, but I don't think they're any larger physically than the 6v /2 horn.

I wonder if there's a 6v air compressor available somewhere? Of course, then you'd have to deal with where to put the air tank, and finding a set of air horns that could be hidden somewhere on the bike.

I avoid using the horns on any of my motorcycles because most of them are so worthless, but my commuter bike is my R100RT, which has dual Fiamm horns. The previous owner installed them. They used to blow fuses until I put in a relay to power them.
I look for opportunities to use it. Once in awhile I find one, and it's wonderful how quickly drivers react. They think they're about to be plowed under by a delivery van!

A search of ebay for "6 volt horn" turns up these.

Hella 6v air horns.

Early Harley Panhead "trumpet" horn.

Thanks,I found those as well.I also found a 40 year old NOS set of air horns, compressor and all.I just don't know where I'd mount it.I'm really thinking about one of the little portable air horns.

Show us a new picture of that bike, and we'll decide how effective that horn will be...

Seriously, do you feel that a better horn will improve your safety factor on the road??

There are some situations when I do think it would help.
