I seriously considered the action packer, but this one just seemed less like Tupperware. In my defense, it was at least really cheap.

There's no denying the utility of one of these babies. Just remember to let em sit for a few minutes before you crack one open!

wouldn't be caught dead with a top box... ranks up there with comb-overs, black socks+shorts & sandals, and scooters in general when not driven by a hot chick...

Do you want the brief answer? Vocals, or purely instruments?

It doesn't appear to belong.
It looks like it is just sitting there and is going to fall off. May work well for keeping tailgaters back a little. "So So"

I would hope so. I had to have my bike hauled home on a trailer from the Urban Enduro 2010. [hangs head in shame] The suport crew looks on as I repair flat #3 for the day. ![]() One last ditch effort (after I ran out of tubes) before giving up and waiting for the trailer ride home after flat Number 4.

Topboxes are for folks who ride every day!
I imagine that the utility aspect of top boxes are why people suffer them on their normally good looking bikes... that's why I have one. I use my bike every day, and have done so over the last 10 years.
I run errands on my bike, so I need a secure place to stash my body armor and helmet. When I come back, I load my groceries, or whatever, and I'm off. When my wife rides as pillon, she enjoys the perceived security of a backrest. When I ride in very heavy city traffic, I could not "split traffic" with saddlebags, but there are no issues with a top box. Finally, my bike has a very narrow rear profile, so the top box gives an added dimension of width to the bike, that might be more noticeable to distracted drivers, behind me. I have Hi-Viz stickers attached to the back of the box for low-light conditions. So, for me, the poor esthetics of it are outweighed by the everyday utility of a topbox. YMMV. I already know it is NOT pretty.
