Just sayin...
My wife won't ride on the back of a bike, besides being afraid of leaning, she's short and all she would see is my back. She likes riding in the sidecar having a "front seat" view, can take pictures, drink, eat, read, and snuggle up in a blanket if she gets cold.

One time we looked at a Can-am in a parking lot, her one comment was "I don't like that".

I have heard the Sidecar seat referred to as the First Class Seating section.

The way I read it, he'd like to buy/ fit a sidecar but he's going with the trike. Check it out to see if I'm right.

(and we all know how dangerous that can be)....

if I had the extra $$$ right now I would be seriously tempted to mate a sidecar and a "steer-lite" (leading link) front end to the FJR, I think it would be a blast! Not a trike, but capable of carrying Mrs. Breeze in some degree of comfort, not to mention capable of carrying a whole lot more stuff (and Mr's B likes to take stuff with her). Best of all, no worries about it falling over. I had a bike once that got knocked over by the wind while it was just sitting in a parking lot...
I won't presume to say what he meant, but it seems in this post he isn't thinking about a trike. If he posted otherwise elsewhere I haven't seen it.

Some stupidity has no explanation.

Actually........

They are for folks who can no longer hold up a bike due to some physical disability, but don't want to ride a trike or sidecar.

Seems to me that you're mistaking a motorcycle parking (and standing) aid for a trike-like attachment. Just like with the Peraves MonoTracer, 1915 Militaire, and two-wheel cyclecars.

Read that bit about "a pair of small auxiliary wheels" used to support the vehicle when stopped. Most likely YOU have a sidestand, or centrestand, for this very purpose? Or do YOU attract censure when you avoid laying your motorcycle over on its side in the parking space?

Great post!! I guess there are just some folks that are boring, run of the mill conformists, while there are some that prefer to push the envelope--true "rebels" that couldn't give a rats pattuti what dullard posers think.
