Why are you guy's over thinking this!!!

It can easily do it with your siglines
Something like:

Need a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (insert occupation here) in _ _ __ _ _ (insert location here) PM me.

Simple no personal info and no one need manage it.

The idea is to use technology when needed. a map when traveling on your phone is much easier then googling wagga wagga site:advrider.com though both at the end can get you the same information.
it can be also exported to your GPS as points of interests if we wish to go that route and so on. but the security of information is more important to me then disclosing random facts on members of this forum.

OK time will tell if it will work.

Just remember it is against the rules on ADV to publish other inmates personal details.

The system will be 100% independent of the forum, every user will have to manually input their data and select what they want to be public etc

I think the project has a strong chance of working if we can get the website up and running, as pointed out i would like to know where inmates are on my central Australia route so I can get help etc, and on Sunday night I could of quickly loaded the map and texted those in the north with trailers to help etc

Maybe every successful rescue used from the system should have a 6 pack tax to ararat for developing it :p haha

Great idea. I've not got an improvement ideas right now but I'll have a ponder.

I think suburb and state is probably enough address information for public display though. Somethings are best left private unless you wish to share with someone in particular.
