Thanks Kokopelli.
Yes, just send him an email, with your order, but don't send money until he has the Paypal set up. A deal is a deal. He will now see how many actual orders there are and can act accordingly. I've told him to respond to the emails, this will be interesting, as he has never responded to any of mine. By know you'd think that I've hassled him enough so he'd do it just to get rid of us :-).

just got back from a little off road ride in Georgia and decided it would be good to change the fork fluid as it seems a little tired.......might as well wait till the inserts come in..........I hope.

What's the general thought on fork springs? Firm or soft?

I would have to say that I prefer my suspension setup to be more on the softer side. I weigh about 180 lbs/ 81kg with all riding gear on and seem to adjust my springs to the softer ends.

I like the way the std forks ride but i dot like how they virtually lock up when you hit a decent bump.So i would say i will order them on the soft side,i am 90 kg so prolly close to 95 kg all geared up.I tend to ride solo.I am gonna send him an email now,i am gonna get the preload knobs on top too

I'm thinking he will want to know if you are going to be carrying panniers plus a larger fuel tank. I included notes about that too. Don't always carry the panniers fully loaded plus that weight is on the rear, but fuel tank weights can vary substantially, stock G/S tank (19.5l), R100GS (24l), HPN (43l), GSPD (?), G/S PD (32l).

everything I know about front springs...which isn't much, means there will be more choices between "hard" and "soft" springs. Only two spring choices...this just doesn't seem right, but maybe I'm just making assumptions.

I just called him again. He got 5-6 orders. He said that he will get on with it. Hopefully he'll send a quick confirmation email.
