Anyone have experience converting 7/8" C bars to 1 1/8" fat bars (Protaper, Renthal, etc.) ?

The clutch and throttle perches won't fit.

BMW bars are 22mm, not 7/8". The difference is slight but there is a difference.

Thank you....After chatting with Larry a couple week ago, I decided not to do the saddlebag and rear rack modification. While the looks and function would have been incredible, I just felt I would not take advantage of the cases. Not to forget the amount of work Larry would have put into it would have made me feel guilty. I can see the efforts taken so far and just have to say....good enough. So no bags...she's gonna be a local bike for around town. A good backpack or tail bag should do the trick.

Bye the way, Haven't gone through the inventory yet, but boy, do I have some really nice stuff that didn't make it on the build. Will inventory and let everyone know....

Tomorrow I'll take some photos. The paint is really unique. In the sun it takes on a lavender/grape hue and in the shade it's a striking blue gray...awesome. Two bikes in one. Just got off the phone with Larry. They are still driving since 9 this morning. Just had to thank them again. It's been quite a journey. Larry still wants to do the saddlebag modification for me.... amazing. He's starting a special project this Summer. I'll let him talk about it when he gets on the forum.

You've got 30 days on an out of state title. Keep your money away from the governess/DOL for as long as you can. (PM me or call me if you need some more details on WA vehicle taxation.)

Oh, I assumed that it had a CA plate on it. Then again, since Larry didn't ride it maybe he never got one.
