Hey Spud,

Na sorry, but will see if any of the others did or the route wouldn't be that hard to figure out. I wouldn't mind doing that for future trips for myself.

Hi Spud

Keep an eye out on this thread for rides... It's never a good idea to go alone ;-)

I'm also in Hobart and regularly to "cone practice" with my bike to try and improve my riding skills :-) it's a great way to get confidence and balance with your bike, I will post here when i'm going again if you are interested to join us:

This is what I do when i practice...

That would be great. I'd appreciate the opportunity. Although, I have about 10 years worth of experience I have had a twenty year gap, kids, house, dog, job etc. But times right so I'm keen as mustard.

That would be excellent. I have done about 2500km over the last couple of months by myself. Got lost on Mt Lloyd, fell off at Ben Lomond and scared the crap out of myself at Griffin ParK, so appreciate the opportunity to tag along The video is handy as well as I have to do my 'P's in two weeks because I let my bike licence laps. Ill keep an eye for your post. Thanks again.

Cheers Des

Always good to have new riders come along,
There is nothing more dangerous than riding on your own in the bush, especially if you have an accident with no way of communicating with the outside world.

I carry a spot and ride by myself a lot due to the nature of my work. I dont see it as dangerous but ride accordingly.
