Hey noob why dont you take the time to read the rules or I dont see you being around here long. Have you gone to KTMTALK? Oh wait you look pretty branded.
NO yahoo /hotmail/gmail etc........... Looks more like a PITA then its worth. Between here and thumpertalk all bases are covered.

Obviously above isn't 100% anymore, you could be reading at your library or over a 3G smartphone etc .... but generally it's still true. Certainly ktmtalk is different than here, it has different values and is moderated differently. As with real life different situations require you conduct yourself in different ways. crazybrit screwed with this post 05-10-2012 at 08:44 AM |

I stop by the site once to try and register after I got my 450EXC. It looked like it would be more of a hassle for me that it was worth.

Not a slam at Thumpertalk, I've never spent much time there. If you're getting all you need from TT and ADV then it's moot right? |

[QUOTE=crazybrit;18655991]Well, it's an incredible resource for those bikes. People like DJH and Travis (thumper racing) spend a lot of time in the RFS forum.QUOTE]
I’m sure it is and I’m not knocking KTMTALK at all. Most of the info I get from other sites about my 450exc reference KTMTALK, that’s how I found out about them. I just don’t have a pay account email address and I don’t want to get one just to join a forum. So its kinda $hitty for me.

As far as free e-mail goes, I think gmail is pretty reliable, hotmail sucks badly and Yahoo is somewhere in the middle. I know if you start actually bouncing Pat will disable the account so I'd avoid trying to sign up using hotmail.com/live.com |

That was precisely my point. Perhaps the OP isn't paying for internet service, but if you do, you generally get email accounts with that service. If you don't pay for internet service at all, you're a .001%er. The only adjustment that I needed to make over at KTM Talk was their intolerance for joking around. Very little off-topic gab or joking around is allowed. They take it pretty serious, and that's actually a feature if you ask me.

So you’re calling me a looser because I don’t have home internet access? Or is this some of the joking around thats not allowed over at KTMTALK?

I started out on ktmtalk.
Some helpful guys on there, no doubt. Too many Mods think they are in Power on the classifieds, plus it wasn't user friendly With me not being a computer whiz. I switched to ADV & Never looked back

KTM Talk is way more usefull than ADV when it comes to bike maintenance and rebuilding of the single cylinder bikes where ADV is where adventure (big bikes) rule and LOVE the RR's. Thanks to guys on Talk, I can revalve my forks or do a topend job on an RFS or XC-4 motor without hesitation. They also have their "off topic" sections for useless threads like this one.
NO, I am not a KTM Talk leg humper!
