Ah heck, I won't be able to attend tech day at The Abbey so I'll miss seeing you guys. I'm having my own special DR tech day, courtesy of Alcan Rider. He is darn determined to make sure my DR continues to perform dependably and reliably so there is no excuse for her to return to Alaska when I ride her down to the Lower 48 later this summer. He wants her to remain in exile, far far away from here.

Have fun! Poor Jack will probably lose more of the few hairs he has left on his head trying to supervise my "lack of" mechanical aptitude. My son is coming over with his KLR and we'll both learn how to remove and replace tires by hand. Oh boy!

I'm willing to do it all, I just don't have the equipment nor the confidence and need some hand holding. Maybe some form or barter....

X2 thanks Mike! Now who was that noob that tried to leave without reattaching up his fuel line?
And to top it all off after I did reattach it I only made it 1/2 mile down the road and it died on me, the line was kinked....
A quick road side diagnosis and adjustment and it was all good. She's purring like a kitten now.
