Slow throttle response

Hello!

I have a freshly rebuild engine, with new ignition and the works.
Exhaust and carburettors are old.

I'm getting slow throttle reponse in neutral (No rearwheel yet).
I have new plugs, leads and coils. (It's a single) Timing is static, can't adjust it. It's just the way it's made.

I'm thinking false air around the airfilter, on the front side (Picks up the air through the frame).
Though it has a HUGE ~5ltr. airfilterbox, so I honestly see that as little importance, but still want to check it.

And then I want to do a basic tuning of the carburettor. It springs to life quite easily, but as said, throttle response is not as fast as I believe it should be.

Plug is gapped at 0,40mm.

What else should I check out while I'm in the garage? Looking for as many things to do as possible, so I don't just sit in the garage and stare :)

Plug cap is 1k Ohm, would have liked one with no resistance as the manufacturer of the ignition recommends it.

Couldn't find any though.

Take the exhaust off and see if it revs any better.

It's a pita, but it's on my list! :) By the amount of smoke that came on initial startup I'd say it flows fine

Mainjet was 135, should have been 107. So I need to get the standard jet first.
