Since i'm clueless on camping in Bolivia - how many nights should we expect to camp versus stay in a hostel (not looking for exact number of days but would it be half/half)? Are there any camping regulations in Bolivia? Also, is it safe to camp in a tent anywhere off the road?

Off to find a cheap rental spot for bikes now! If anyone out there is reading this that offers bikes, there are two of us looking to rent bikes for 21-25 days starting mid October in La Paz. Please chime in if you're out there!
