We will be doing some scouting on the river memorial day weekend. Going to start in Oxford and head southeast back to Alma. Those old Yammer Hammers would be right at home on these old dirt roads. Im pretty excited about this.
Dave, please let me know when get the Dakar back up. |

I just received word that my shock is on it's way home, I'll be up and going in no time. Plan on me for the river run.

Good spot.
I got the bike back on the road last night, going to change the oil at work tomorrow and maybe take off and give it a good wringing out this weekend.

I serviced half of mine a fews weeks ago. Oil and filter is in the mail. Doug did some google earth print outs this weekend of the river. There's roads and trails there. We just need to find them |

Am not sure on this yet. I may be up for an afternoon spin on that Sunday. I have memorial service commitments on Monday, so no Sunday night camping for me. I might be up for trailering the bike up and going for a ride. I could probably just ride it from here, for that matter. It's been to Franklin and back several years ago.

What's the good word? Are all the spots spoken for? I'm thinking I'll drive one of the LC's down friday and set up a tent, spend the night and then drive up to G-ma's saturday (reroofing part of her house.) Drive the bike down sat. night and then I'm free for the rest of the weekend.

I was looking at the map. Is this the camping area north off the main loup in the back almost to the county road? Do we pay at the park entrance for tent spots?
