Conserve The Ride 2012: Central PA June 22-24
Sponsored by Altrider of Seattle, WA and guaranteed to be a killer weekend.
Remember that these guys were very engaged during the popular RawHyde "Mines and Meadows" ride in PA a few years back and they also had a nice booth at the BMW MOA rally in PA last year including their unforgettable ADV ride. This three day package of top shelf adventure riding is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of off-road motorcycle riding in the nearby trails of Pennsylvania and will take place on June 22-24. For more details on prices and included locally brewed BEER , check out http://www.altrider.com/conserve-the-ride-2012/pid/935A few of us will be taking off from Central OH and taking the LONG way there, if you know what I mean. ![]() Any suggestions on routes? Interested in doing a huge pack of ADV riders?? |

Video from the 2011 Ride!
Here's the video from the ride in 2011 from the BMW Rally to wet your appetite! Proceeds of the 2012 ride will benefit the Seven Mountains Conservation Corps which preserves and protects trails through Central PA. It's a good cause!

Thanks for posting about our event, Conserve the Ride!
I just want to highlight a few more facts about the event. Sign up now to get a discounted price of $250 (Price goes back up on may 24). This event will be awesome! We've also included off-road riding seminars, cave tours (since we're camping next to the largest cave in Pennsylvania) and even a pig roast (yes, you might see a cooked pigs head). Most importantly, we have local ISDE racers from the Seven Mountains Conservation Corp mapping out 160 miles of awesome riding for all skill levels, beginner to expert. We are having routes for each level just to ensure everybody gets a challenge, within the range of their skills. This link will have a bit more information about the event http://us1.campaign-archive1.com/?u=...=95bf981a2f&e=. Don't miss out on Conserve the Ride! It will truly be an epic adventure. |

We are gearing this ride towards the bigger adventure bikes because it is going to be around 160 miles of on and off road. The bike must be plated and legal on roads. |

Bring your fly rod
If you are heading to Conserve the Ride come a day early or stay an extra day and pack up your fly rod. You will be 10 minutes from Penns Creek, one of the best fly fishing streams in the country.

The main course is 40% pavement and 60% dirt roads. There are 3 optional sections where knobbies will be needed. It is shaping up to be a great weekend.
