Back in 65 i rode a HD Sportster in ONE(1) crosscountry event. It beat me to death but it was one of few that i finished. Can't remember where it was ( mojave desert ) I think i finished last.

I have already raced my 950 ADV in local Baja and i don't regret on doing it

Rallyconnex puts the event on. This years is coming up soon I believe.

The 'Paris to Dacre' is put on every other year, with a similar 2 day ride on similar tracks on the off year. I rode one of those. Watered out quite quickly.
