Thanks. Couldn't resist the dry roads and the sun shining!

The new tag was going to be this (abandoned highway overpass from Weird NJ), but it was just too illegal to get to on a bike:

So, I had to settle for this "Road to Nowhere", found by going over the "Bridge to Nowhere" (sorry, couldn't resist stealing that name from the Southern game)

The New Tag.....

Tag Shot:

Bike has not moved:

GPS coordinates available on request.....

Without getting the computer fired up to check, I think I used to live near that abandoned overpass and went to some meetings about making sure it never went in to operation. If it's the right abandoned overpass, when I went under it on Saturday the gate next to it was open.

I think the new tag is about half a mile from where I live now, but I had a glass of wine with dinner

So, now explain to me what I am suppose to do on my way home, uh! I went up that "illegal"road right after Irene and it was a real mess.

First, Let's see if Doc approves..
I can hear him already:
"snip, snip.., ..ehhhh.. Wrong angle, snip-snip, bike is facing the wrong direction.."
..but if he does, Pepe, I could use some company on the next abundant Night Tag
(NOoo..., it is not what you think! I'm not afraid to go by myself..
Ok, maybe just a little )
New tag closer to midnight

Of course! Wouldn't deny the little bad habit! Glad you made it back from Otis in one piece. Did you two do the hero sections?

Nice grab, you two!

Sorry I didn't confirm sooner, but was busy with American Idol!

For p.c., it's the abandoned overpass of Route 78, right near Governor Livingston High School in New Providence/Murray Hill.
The GPS coordinates:

We did few of the mild/easy and moderate sections, but we skipped the Mud Hole, the nasty 4 mile of course, and some "shortcut" towards the end. But i hear (little bird told me) that you took the easy way out.., is that true?

thanks and I'll see you around! gotta go for a ride...

***NOT A TAG***
(Mission Faild )
sorry Pepe, but i got myself in trouble, again (different tag attempt)
another friendly face, wearing another kind of uniform came out of nowhere, in about 30 seconds after i pulled the camera out, and told me that the sign is government property and i can't take pictures of the it.

he said OK to take picture of a bike, and he looked at this shot and said it is OK, but I can't do that to you...
..think about this - these guys have security cameras watching a sign, which is a block away from the entry gate!
they probably have security cameras watching their security cameras

New tag at around lunch time
(unless i get arrested )
***NOT A TAG***

Would have been a perfectly good tag. Easy, though, since the address was right on the lower half of the sign. And we know most of your tags are within a few miles of your house in Clifton!

Note: there is nothing wrong with an easy tag once in a while. Especially when they are wedged in between rain storms. I, alas, am stuck at work....

not as easy as you think.. there was a twist
there is identical sign at 77 River Rd.
you would be taking a picture of the wrong sing for sure (if you were quick enough to pull out your camera )

i know few who work there and i knew this place is tight on security, but i didn't think they protect their signs so much..
sorry again - it wasn't intentional

The GPS coordinates:
1.2 miles by road, .5 as the crow flies.
