DR350 noise
recently my trusty 99 dr350sex started making a racket.
![]() sounded like the cam chain to me, so i opened her up. ![]() the crank nut was loose & no damage to be seen. while i'm waiting for the pile of parts, i'm considering shaving the clutch basket a bit. anyone care to take a stab at how much the parts grow at full operating temp? reason is, when its hot the clutch sometimes wants to crawl when in gear. when cold, no problems. got new thrust washers coming, and i'll torque the clutch hub nut to the low end of the range but i'm thinking a few thousands play when cold may be the ticket. plugeye screwed with this post 05-23-2012 at 04:18 PM Reason: bad choice of title |
