headed to fairbanks, maybe on to Manley

Hey all, I think I am going to be taking a short notice trip to Fairbanks during my 4 day break. Up tuesday, back thursday or friday. I know theres a decent campground near some ballfields, up the road from college pizza. Not sure where that was, I was with other riders and not paying attention.

Also, I dont suppose anyone knows how to contact the nice folks at manley hot springs to ensure they are open and available.

Any additional riders would be welcome!

The camp ground your thinking of is next to the fairgrounds on college avenue, across the street from the Alaska Fun Center (Yamaha and Kawasaki dealer). I'd recommend the Go North Campground/Hostel on Davis road (907) 479-7271), about a block east of University avenue.

Number to the Manley Roadhouse is (907) 672-3161

Enjoy your trip. Manley is one of my favorite places.

Same here one of my favorite place to go. Make sure you drop in and see miss Dart to take a soak in the hot springs. I like to stay in the old section of the road house I saw on the news this morning that we lost another old road house the Copper center road house is gone lost to fire there are not many left I did a road house run on my bike a few years ago just to see how many I could find.

Prudhoe-Manley-Anchoarge

Nice photo and inspiring. I will be heading back from Prudhoe June 10th. I think I am going to run to Manley for the overnight then to Anchorage.

Cool, thanks for the info guys, Looks like I will be delaying the trip for thursday May 31st - Sunday June 3rd. I can meet someone up North or possibly even delay the trip a day to hook up with a riding partner or two. Let me know!
