Subscribed! Great stuff so far... you certainly don't see many folks start at the north end and work south the way you two are doing it - especially so early in the riding season!

If you plan on staying a night (or more) in Prince George as you head south, drop me a line. We always have lots of tent space in the yard for ADV folk on their way through. If you need a break from the weather, there's a spare bedroom as well (assuming we don't already have company, of course).

Hey guys, I just got back to Fairbanks from the Dalton HWY. It is still very much winter north of the Brooks range. Yesterday morning in Deadhorse there was this Foggy/snow/freezing crap that iced me over pretty good. That lasted for about 35 miles. I hope you pack warm cloths. Watch out for the dust. some of the big rigs kick up way more then you think and the road will disappear if there is no wind. One more thing, HAVE FUN!

Thanks for the update on the road conditions. I'm heading up there tomorrow (solo) but I don't plan on going much past Atigun Pass. I want to do some hiking and would love to climb up the snow-covered peak at the top of Atigun Pass. I'm bringing warm clothes, crampons and an ice axe in case I get to "play" on steep snowfields. When I rode to Deadhorse two years ago we encountered the freezing, horizontal sleet/ice crap that iced us up too. That wasn't fun at all.

I don't mean to Hi-jack this thread.. but be careful for the wet slides! They were cleaning off the road with a front end loader on my way up. Apparently it covered half the road when it slid.

Since Andi is just to buzy to reply to u I will answer your questions . You know how Andi is half Dutch , well the tight ars just glued on strip LEDs to the Barkbusters . His tires are Bridgestone Trailwings which are supplied with the bikes when new . Good to hear about the new job , are you flying the Big Birds ?? I seen on internet Chch had another good shake , how is everything at your place ?. Im on winter leave from NZ again , Im sitting in just boxer shorts with a fan cooling me down at Santa Fe on Bantayan Island , Philippines , Im renting a 3br house and Suzuki multi cab for $240NZ a month .
