But on the serious side, as warm as it has been the skeeters are out, and no-see-ums. Bug spray may be needed.

I just washed my bike.. by commuting for an hour and a half in pouring rain

Now I have to find a way to get all my gear dried out for our 7am departure.

Take it, that's why you bought it. Personally, for me the Kermit is the most comfortable part of the trip but then again I ride a Volkswagen (KLR) with a plank for a seat.
