with the added fuel, is opening the intake a good or bad idea? I've been looking at buying a BMC air filter from a R1200 HP2 Sport, its a drop in that's supposed to be 30% more efficient. MaxBMW is running them in their race bikes.

Got them
I got the 3 I ordered for the family fleet of F800Gs's. Installed one so far and it does make a noticeable difference even on the ride up the block and back. look forward to smoother response well into the future. Thank you.

Got mine too. Thanks HTC! Installed it this afternoon and went out for a short ride. Weather was in the mid-60's so I had the switch set to the blue position. Very noticeable improvement in the throttle roll-on/roll-off, especially at lower speeds. No more bucking bronco, jumpy behavior. If you have an F800GS and have not done this mod yet, you don't know what you are missing!

Hello HTCA,
Finally got the Controller in the mail today. The border probably held on to it longer thinking it was an item for making things go boom. LOL silly guys. I'll mount it some time this week. Our weather is rainy for the next couple of days. About 14C for the next couple anyway. Thanks for the great looking product. Mike

I installed this on my bike, a while ago, forgot if anything was removed.
IE, the piece that sticks into air box?I forget. & before I get in there, asking do the original pieces get removed? From bike. Just went from Boston to Albuquerque with a power commander & was going to try to put back for trip back to original. For a full test of + 2,000. Miles with & without. Highway coming out the same going back.

the original air sensor stays in place and it is used for making the "system" work.

After I thought about it, thanks.
May do a trial on the way back without & see. Leave your wiring in place.

The buyout of the Power Controller fell thru... and I sold out of all the unit I had! Thanks for the sales!!
In the mean time my son (a new Computer Engineering major college student! ) will continue to build units if anyone wants one. He has 14 built thus far this summer and can ship if anyone needs one...Thanks for the support!! HTCA

I'm liking mine a lot. It's smoothed out the worst of the snatchiness. Looking forward to getting off-pavement somewhere, it usually tries to kill me when I'm on the pegs with a huge drop-off to one side so it could just be waiting for the right moment...
![]() Thanks Glad to hear more lucky inmates will be able to fit this wonderful contraption.

Does this gizmo work on a GS/GSA1200 as well or is there a similar one for the big GS?
