Storage advice in Seattle

As part of my one way trip planning for my trip south to Seattle in early September I am trying to locate safe secure covered storage for my Honda PC800. Might be several months up to a year depending on when I can get free to continue my touring. Can any of you give me any advice on a storage rental in Seattle, nearer the bus lines or the airport?

I have stored bikes in the middle of trips in the US and Canada on a number of occaisions.

Always used mini-storage. They are all over the place and many offer deals for new customers. If I'm flying out right away, I look near the airport, otherwise just make sure a motel is nearby.

I usually look for a 5 x 10 unit outside with a level entrance and roll up door (sometimes regular doors are narrower and can't get the bike in.) That has worked for both my 800GS and Harley Ultra.

Most of the mini storage chains won't let you store a motor vehicle inside the unit without a lot of administration. I use them 24/7 but I have a box trailer containing my race bikes.

@Rexbuck, thanks for the tip, I'll look into it. As you are in BC, can you recommend a nice scenic non-superslabby route from Kitwanga to the US border towards Seattle?

TIA -Kevin

Contact Wayne at South Sound BMW in Fife, Wa just east of Tacoma. They can provide long term inside storage, just not sure how much.
