Got a pair of HPN handguards you never installed? Or removed from an R80G/S airhead? Let me know....

Parting out '83 R80RT

Hi all.
I am parting out a friend's R80RT. He's from Denmark and wired me the money, we did a great trip last month, with the plans of selling the bike (complete) after he went back to Denmark. It was already to sell and something happened with the engine, it's locked up. I think the front main bearing pin may have gotten loose and cause the damage, but I am not sure. I just want to get him back his money and clear out my garage for more fun stuff.
Here are the parts I took off and have photos of. Basically everything off the bike is for sale, if you don't see something please ask me in a PM.
Shipping is included to the Continental US, except for some of the bigger items that are noted. I will ship overseas, if anyone is interested.
Paypal is cool, as long as it is sent as a "Gift". Cash and local deals are always cool too.
I am located in Los Angeles.

WTB R80g/s

Trying to find an original, stock or tastefully upgraded R80g/s or the G/SPD to go on longish trips. The later bikes just don't do it for me being a sucker for old bikes. My previous bikes have been 70s' CB's and a venerable XT500 but I've always loved the first generation G/S. Figured I would post here as well, anyone have an "extra" stock g/s in their stable?

I need at least one newer peanut style valve cover. I'm willing to take something that has a simple ding or scrape. The problem is the one I have on the right sight is cracked, dinged, holed and the last contact with somebody turning left in front of me scraped both of the horizontal lines down. The fins are deformed.

I'll take a good one or one that is almost good.

I need a GS subframe ... or something suitable. This will go on my 'beater' dirt bike (The Dobber) ... so functionality is key, and it can look like complete hell. PM me if you even have something that *might* work. Thanks!

EDIT:
GOT ONE!!! THANKS!!!!

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

Looking for a part for a R75 starter

I have a 1970 R75/5 that I am starting to rejuvinate. Yesterday I was pulling out the starter so I could rebuild it when I discovered that the housing of the starter was broken where the starter bolts to the mount by the fly wheel. The bell housing was broken as was one of the ears where it bolts on to the mount. I am looking for the housing only.......Thanks
