F*ck all. I cranked up Das Beast today, and the @#@!#! lift I had on the bench came off. The toe on my right foot took the brunt of it. 6 hours in the ER in Asheville. 10 stitches to close it. One nurse, and only one, understood that I would be riding this weekend.

If you see me there, be very, very care of my feet.

No, not the bike. Das Beast sat pretty as a mongrel.

The jack stan rolled off the lift and nearly decapitated the toe beside my big toe. Surgical hit too. No big toe and all other toes were unaffected.

Hurts like mofo this morning too. Expected given the severity of it.

Ah, the old jackstand on the lift gig. Never have been bit by that before, but I've come close. I wonder how a longish ride on the bike will affect the stitched toe? Maybe a compression bandage around the affected extremity will help?
