Extra parts-should i sell?
I've got a /2 with a Hoske tank and Pagusa seat.I also have what I believe is the original tank and bench seat. Both are in very good condition.I will never be putting these on this bike.My question is:am I better to keep these with the bike for re-sale(which I don't anticipate),or just sell them outright?I hate to just have them sitting around if they will never be used by me.

Parts - some
I have a shed full of good parts for all of the bikes - and I will be interested in hearing the opinions.
Always felt that the spares would be handy if I needed them. 15 years into some of them and I haven't used any yet. So I have recently decided to sell the parts that are not too hard to come by. I would keep the tank - never know and very hard to find a good one, the seat - not so.

I generally keep all the original parts of bikes just in case circumstances change and its not a 'keeper'. For me the original tank would mean more than one that holds a lot of fuel. Common parts I move on especially BMW stuff as its easy ( although not always cheap ) to get. Any pics of the bike ?

Unless you really need the money I'd keep it. You can't buy back the original tank and seat.

I don't need to sell.I was just curious if the original tank/seat added value at re sale time.

I can't see how it'd hurt. In fact, if someday you wanted to sell it, you'd probably get better money selling the bike in stock trim and selling the hoske separately.

If you have any intention of selling the bike down the line keep the /2 tank and put it on at that time. The Hoske tank will bring you more money sold separately than any additional value it would add to the bike if sold together

I think you might have answered your own question back at the beginning.
