Iron & Air Magazine

Pretty cool online magazine seems to be on the lookout for BMW cafe racers.

What makes this blog or online magazine cool? Is it the fact that your name ”SEEMS” to be all over the bike or the fact that you “SEEM” to get a big credit at the bottom.

Why not just say, hea fellow AdvReaders, here is a blog and its a bike I had a part of it.

Your post makes it sound like you just stumbled upon this NEW online magazine.

Are you suggesting that an inmate may be shamelessly promoting himself? Some people might get their feelings hurt! I am NOT offended. Many inmates have excellent products and services to offer. Where else are we to learn about them? Yes, I know there is a vendors section. But, bmweuro (and others) offer helpful and free advice on these forums all the time. I support them!

I agree with Ray.

Great looking stuff. Went to his website. Love the seat for cafe, would need to sell one of the kids kidneys to afford it. Looks like really quality stuff.

Would love to see an affordable alternative to the stock gas cap.

For someone with only 16 post you might want to take a chill pill If you would have looked through the website you would have seen it is about people building cool bikes in the their garages just like most of the folks here.
I do not need to do any self promoting on ADV. Most people in the Airheads section know who I am and what I do and that most of my almost 2000 post are answering tech questions and helping out.

bmweuro,

thanks for posting this. You have been of help to me on a couple of occasions. Back when you were still selling parts I called you once and got to speak with your daughter, I think, you were out of town or something. Then the next week you were going out of business. So I hope stuff is going well.

Why the name Iron & Air? Iron Heads are a slang for certain Harley's but can also refer to many former designs because almost all of them were Iron in the early days. BMW's were one of the first to use Aluminum regularly I think.

It's a reference to older bikes? I guess.

Not sure why they named it Iron & Air, but I thought it was a cool website. I had not heard about it until they contacted me with some questions on the orange cafe racer. I'm glad I was able to help you out in the past.

Nice looking bike, I can probably find you some side covers if I search eBay.

I'd suggest that you all put "BUGStasteLIKEchicken" on you ignore list.

It appears to be an ID that someone likes to use for Trolling. I had the same assehole following me around a couple years ago, obviously attempting to cause disention.

Theres allways an assehole in the mix and BTLC is one of them.
