Yep, that's a couple cruisers alright.

Jungleman? I still have Jungleman on the fence but for some reason I thought Mr. Fisherman already knocked him off the fence. Hey Jungleman, you're IN with the rest of the fun kids aren't you?

More ADV cruisers.
That was a great ride LB, weather not withstanding.
In fact the weather made it the event it was.

I agree that was a fun ride even with the cold, rain, snow and wind....Getting to the gas station and having hands so cold my fingers wouldn't move it didn't take much to convince me that heading to a nice warm motel was the way to go. As I was showering and trying to warm up I sure was thinking about taking the Pickle route and staying in that room all weekend. After a nice dinner, a good nights sleep and waking up nice and warm I was happy to head for camp and set up with everyone else.

Sometimes the weather does make the adventure.

This year the Superbug is staying home and the F650 is coming out to play.

LB, you have outdone yourself with all these ride maps. Only problem is, there are so many that I'm not going to be able to choose.
Safe travels everyone! Look forward to seeing you all!
Don't know if the Idarider above was supposed to be the same as me (IDRIDR), but I'll be bringing a double-burner camp chef stove, cooking supplies, and perhaps a dutch or two for deserts. Keep me in mind for any other requests.

I am fat, old and on a little 250... I will likely bring my trailer and will have a couple extra gallons of fuel just in case. I will try to stop for pics... bring your cameras, snacks, water... whatever you think you might need and a good attitude... and a smile...

I haven't done this route yet... but it should be fun.

Check out the link Katy (Lives2rideKTMs) posted in the second quote down.
Hey Fishy, What time to you plan to pull out of camp?

GPS Users
The GPX files are now available for the routes. A big thank you to MrMagoolin for proof reading and setting up the tracks. The files are set up with both routes and tracks.

The files needed to be placed in the Layin' Down Tracks forum since we are not able to attach files in this forum. I was only able to attach one file per thread so there is a thread for each route. The titles all start with Hells Canyon-(route name). They're here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=42 Of course as more threads getting added they will be pushed to the back.

At the bottom of post 2 on the first page of this thread I added links to the GPX posts to each of the route links at the bottom of the page. I think I will add those links to the route pages as well.

I have been wanting to set something like this up for a few years and finally this year it's getting done. The nice thing is we will be able to continue to use these route for future Hells Canyon/Wallowa Valley gatherings.

One request: If you use a GPS to follow these routes and find issues with routing/tracks please let me know so they can be corrected for the future.

As I was setting these up I kept finding more and more options to change up the routes here and there. This area is a never ending playground of fun. It will take years to see it all.

We will start loading the trailer tonight. Leave Wednesday evening. Not sure if we will make it to the camp ground or stay in Wallowa and show up early Thursday. Probably show up Wednesday, so I can get a earlier start Thursday on a ride.

No hurry, no worry. Remember I'll be on vacation .
I will also be adjusting to becoming a day walker it will be after I have had breakfast and coffee and coffee had time to shake the cobwebs. This should give time for those interested to get ready. I'll post the preride time location at the lunch tent somehow.

If we're still keeping track, mrs.dhally is OUT and Ace is IN. He's a noob to riding, but not to sitting around the fire and telling lies...

Has anybody talked to the Imnaha store folks about staging some gas there?
