Great source of info.
Just wanted to mension what a great site this is. Loads of info and good advice on the 950/990 models. I've always used sites like this before buying anything to learn what issues I may face and how bikes/cars are to live with whether it be a Subaru Impreza STi or an Africa Twin.
Now that my 99 AT has a perfect engine again and my interest has now fallen to a KTM I have decided to save for a 04-05 950 adventure and hopefully get one coming into the winter when the fair weather riders decide they've had enough and sell up. Great deals to be had around that time. I'll ride the AT during the salty winter months and get the 950 ready for spring/summer. Anyway just thought I'd mension how helpful the site has been and I'm looking forward to adding to it in the future.

I wholeheartedly concur about how helpful this site is...
I'm jealous, my Suby has a fairly boring life in Oklahoma, I'd much rather be zipping around in Eire. Last time I was there I had a 1.6L Impreza rental car, and I tried to wring as much fun as I could out of the little machine while dodging tour busses as I made a loop around the island. I certainly enjoy my 990R, good luck in your search |
