It wasn't until I bought my Shoei Qwest that I discovered something I never knew in nearly 40 years of life here on Earth: my ears are NOT the same height on my skull, my left ear being just a little bit higher than my right ear.

The Shoei's foam ear pockets fit my right ear just fine, but the top tip of my left ear sits just outside of the pocket. It's not terribly uncomfortable, but it's annoying over time, and peeves me off (nothing else wrong with the helmet, great helmet, JUST that, grrrr),
