"clipped beam"
Hey sanjoh ....
Have you experimented with a solid or mostly smoked Light protector in a semi-circle shape ... to maybe get that "clipped beam --- low-beam-friendly pattern ??? just curious ... http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/hst...ion/Detail.bok

Light specifications
Hi John,
Just ordered mine. 4 x the Mod 60 + dimmer, + poly lens covers + HD mounts. Say, I can't seen to find any engineering drawings of the fitting so I can pre-fabricate a mount. ( I may be having a man look as my wife says though) Do you have any info I could have a look at?? I am just after the housing and mounting bracket info. Nothing "back of house" Cheers, Tony. |

Got my lights installed. Here are the lights mounted to the windshield. It doesnt hold to bad but I may look into a mount last in time.
![]() My toggle. ![]() Im leaving the controller on my keys for now. ![]() There is hardly any room for the control box near battery so put it in the rear of the bike. ![]() All wires were crimped with connectores and heat shrinked over the connectors. ![]() I also wired in a advmonster volt meter. It is wired to turn on and off with the switch. Unfortunantly it can not be seen in direct sun light.

Video of everything
Note in the video it looks like the lights flicker. They do not its just the way video captures the leds. Hopefully the video will be edited upright once its available on here.

mounted mine on the hand guards, both sides. works AMAZINGLY WELL... my only regret was i should have gotten them SOONER. if you have any doubts, you will not be disappointed. my friend who has never seen them before and had HIDs on his other bike was literally shocked when he saw how bright they are, both on low during daytime, and full power at night on the backroads.. he called them my "light cannons". i love 'em. Thank you Sanjoh!!

no, not really...if you're referring to single track where true dirt bikes belong. i'm probably on unpaved roads about 10-15% of the time, and most often, unintentionally while going over backroad mountain roads...

So I'm lookin in to a pair of the 60s when I get some money, how would I set up a dimmer low beam and full on high beam?
and why can I get the exact same lights for less on ebay? |
