The reason the squadron or most lights similar to it are not legal even with a dimmer are just because they are so bright and can be blinding. DOT and E11 will not approve our lights and lots of others that our LEDs and so bright :(

Our squadron with a dimmer is unfortunately still not legal, but we have a lot of customers that run them on the streets with dimmer and no other drivers or police hassle them if dimmed.

Thanks
Mike

I have a squardron on my crf450X and it has dimming facility.

AS long as I can dim them they are legal are they not?

I agree my twid HID baja design race lights are huge, but turning one off is the best way to "dim" them I think.
