Short trip to Tulahuen, Chile
I am Chilean rider that found this extraordinary site just a couple of months ago and now I decided to share my short trip and hopefully some long ones too . I leave in Ovalle, fourth region of Chile (400 kms North from Santiago, our Capital city) and I work in the fruit business (we produce and export fresh fruit to many parts og the world ).
Tulahuen is a very little village near Monte Patria. Our farms is near this town and I leave in the Farm while we are during the harvest time, so I take my F 650 Dakar 2006 and do many short trips which I will beging to post from now, so here I am!!
One of our Farms and my lovely F 650 GS Dakar 2006, called Perla Blue (Blue Pearl)
The road from the farm is paved with many curves, then you get off road to Tulahuen
Tulahuen main road...a little village remember...
From the main road at Tulahuen you can also go to Combarbala and Cogoti (I will show you more in new threads) and also have a good local lunch at Cucaracha Restaurant!
The sign give visitors a good wellcome!!
a good little friend I found
On the way you find an old bridge made of still....
and just beside the bridge the very old seat canopy the people used to croos the river....wanderfull!!
Finally, a good Camping to rest and also stay for a night or more...
I really hope everybody enjoyed this report. I will keep posting more short trip and hopefully a long one soon.
Only winds can take you there!
