Hotrodding the GS - Pre-Order Sale!

Over the past few weeks we've received many requests to build more IICE Airs, as well as many requests from foreign ADVriders. Due to that popular demand we'll be doing another 30-piece sale, but with a twist. The difference is, the build will begin after 30 pieces are pre-ordered. The sale period shouldn't take too long, but will take at least a little bit of time. The purpose for doing the sale that way is to put a little break in there so JJ and I can work on transitioning to the upcoming 'Cool' and 'Smooth' devices. Yes, the Cool and Smooth products are moving forward, and I sure want to get going on that. But the popularity for the IICE Air is high enough that I don't want to leave too many people behind as we transition to the new products! This seemed like a good compromise.

Hell, at this rate, I'll have either worn the bike out, sold it, or died before the second piece of the set is even in production and that's not even counting the looong lead time from order to delivery.

Obviously I get that, Randy. If you've been following the GSpot thread for any length of time you know you're not the first person to make those comments. If it were possible to do what you suggest, I sure would. Maybe at some point it will be. In the meantime, here are some pics of an IICE Air build from start to finish. Be careful of the tendency for the marketing of a product to supersede the actual delivery of the product. Us Americans are, sadly enough, a culture of immediate gratification. We are easy to fire up and get us excited about a new "toy" but if that "toy" isn't in our hands while the fire is still hot, we're just as quick to move on to something else... Us motorcyclists in particular tend to be a fickle bunch...

Sound comments Randy, thanks for taking the time. I go along with most of what you're saying, and I pretty much see it the same way. To paraphrase your post, I agree, the only thing 'ideal' about this is the product itself.
